We all want to see less waste and less manufacturing.
Less of the "new stuff".
More of the "make it last longer".
There are lots of us.
We need to work together.
We need to be seen.
We need to help each other.
The first step is to make it easier for people to find the organisations doing the work, so we've built a global, searchable directory for us all to contribute to.
The directory is here to help members of the public find repair and lending organisations near them, and it's here for those same organisations to provide content and inspiration to others who may want to start or grow their own organisation or group.
The directory is free to join, and is community managed. Each Organisation and Group owner is periodically reminded to log in and keep their information up to date, so that it remains a useful resource.
If you think an organisation is missing, you can invite them using the link in the main menu above.
The directory is a great way to find organisations helping us repair things, and borrow more.
Automated reminders help organisation and group owners keep information up to date. We'll highlight potentially out-of-date records, and hide the really stale ones.
Listing on the platform gives your organisation extra visibility, and a place to upload those reports, resources and toolkits you want to share with the world.
It's easy to publish an up-to-date list of members, as the organisations manage their records themselves. Our platform will regularly remind organisation owners to keep their details accurate, so that visitors to the platform can be confident it's actually useful.
