WHAT IT DOES
A screw-extractor is a reverse-threaded drill bit, i.e. it runs ‘backwards’ from normal drill bits. It is used to drill into stuck screws and rotate them out. Unlike normal drill bits, screw extractors dig into a screw more firmly as they rotate and pull the screw out.
