WHAT IT DOES

You’ll often see mitre joints on picture frames, they’re usually a 45 degree angled join to make a 90 degree angle (see 2nd picture).

Electric mitre saws have been available since the 1970’s and they allow you to do accurate angled cuts. A similar tool is a sliding mitre saw, this tool allows you to do angled cuts and it also allows you to cut material with more depth as the blade can be pulled and pushed on a rail.

• Read operating instructions before use. 
• Ensure the saw is secure before use and always clamp the work on the table.
• Ensure there are no nails or foreign objects in the part of the workpiece to be sawn.
• DO NOT saw any material that does not have a flat surface on which to bear.
• This machine is signed for cutting wood. DO NOT use for cutting metal, plastic or masonry.
• DO NOT perform freehand operations.
