Jigsaw #4

Jigsaw for if you want to cut a curve or a bevel.

This jigsaw takes bayonet (T-shank) blades, if you would like to pick some for yourself for particular work.

What you get:

  • a  compact hand jig saw, with variable base-plate, variable speed etc
  • a basic wood or metal blade (please let us know what you'd like). We can offer more blades for £2 each.

Tips for use

Here is a useful guide.

Inserting the blade:  Insert the blade into the blade holder at 90 degrees, and twist it to face forwards.  Ensure that it is seated between the blade guides. To lock the blade into place, lift the black  "Bosch SDS" cap on the  handle above the blade. Spin the cap clockwise many times, until the mechanism stiffens or clicks as the blade is locked in. Push the Bosch SDS cap back into place.  You will need to follow these steps in reverse to removed the blade after use.

Angle: to adjust the angle plate, turn the rear "bosch SDS" dial anticlockwise until it loosens the plate, then when in position, tighten up until it clicks.
