An onbuhimo is a Japanese style backpack carrier with no waist belt - it's a great option if you are pregnant or just don't want extra pressure on your abdomen. Children are worn high on the back. They can be used in the front, but are generally more comfortable as back carries. It is suitable for little ones from approxomately 9 months to 2.5 years.

This particular onbuhimo has rings for a different style of fastening.

Come along to our next sling meet or book a consultation with us to give it a try! Book your slot here.

If you are not confident at getting your little one on your back yet, we would recommend a consultation with one of our babywearing consultants.
