A chop saw has a circular saw blade mounted on an arm that pivots up and down. It is used to make shortcuts (for example, cutting a long piece of material into smaller lengths) and is suitable for cutting metal.
If you need to cut wood at an exact angle, consider using a mitre saw instead. For longer, straight cuts, consider a table saw.

HOW TO USE IT
Position the workpiece on the flat platform under the saw blade, and line it up with the blade of the saw. The cut line will be marked out on the platform or shown by a laser projected onto the workpiece. Clmap the workpiece in place. Pull the trigger on the handle and slowly bring the saw down through the material.
