Borrow Hot glue gun

To use a hot glue gun, prepare your workspace, insert a glue stick, and plug in the gun to allow it to heat up. Once hot, gently squeeze the trigger to dispense the glue onto one surface, immediately press the items together, and hold until the glue sets. Always use caution, as the gun and glue are very hot. 

Before you begin

Prepare your work area: Protect your work surface with a drip mat or silicone mat to catch any drips. 

Clean the surfaces: Ensure the items you are glueing are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease. 

Insert a glue stick: Place a new glue stick into the back of the gun until it meets the existing stick. 

Plug in the gun: Plug the glue gun into an outlet and let it heat up for a few minutes. A drip mat is useful for testing the flow, and some guns come with a stand to keep the tip elevated while heating.
