The AT-1 was first manufactured December 1977, it was developed specifically for export and never sold in Japan. Basically, a version of the popular AE-1 without the shutter-speed priority auto-exposure mode. The AT-1 is manual exposure only, which made it cheaper for photographers who didn’t require auto exposure.
