Yamhill County's tool lending library.

About

The McMinnville Tool Library is a volunteer-run nonprofit that provides community members with affordable access to a shared collection of tools for home repair, gardening, woodworking, automotive work, and other do-it-yourself projects. Instead of purchasing tools that may only be used occasionally, members can borrow them for short periods of time, helping save money, reduce waste, and make practical projects more accessible. In addition to tool lending, the Tool Library hosts workshops and hands-on learning opportunities that help people build confidence and skills using tools safely and effectively. Anyone 18 or older living in Yamhill County can become a member. Community members can get involved by becoming members, volunteering at the library, helping maintain tools, teaching workshops, supporting events, or donating tools or funds. The McMinnville Tool Library is powered by volunteers and works to strengthen the community by increasing access to tools, encouraging repair and reuse, and creating opportunities for neighbors to learn from and support one another.
