The Share Shed is a project set up in 2017 by the charity Network of Wellbeing, which is working to connect people, support projects and inspire action.
About
Our motto: ‘If we’ve got it, you can borrow it!’ The Share Shed is the world’s first mobile library of things. Based in Devon (UK), it offers over 350 items to be borrowed, for an annual fee (donations between £5 and £50 or free for low-income households), and then nominal fee for each borrow, including tools, household appliances, camping and gardening equipment, sewing machines, suitcases and much more!
The Share Shed aim to bridge people’s needs and wants with the resources available in our community. They inspire people to engage in social change, help people save money, space and resources, and reduce clutter!
