About
Hi! We’re the Rework Collective, a group of people living in Hartlepool on a mission to make "sharing" the new "buying."
Let’s be honest: our sheds and cupboards are often full of things we only use once a year, like that carpet cleaner for the spring clean or a drill for a one-off DIY project. Meanwhile, those same items can be pricey to buy brand new. We figured, why not just share them?
Our Library of Things at the Belle Vue Centre lets you borrow exactly what you need for a tiny fee, saving you cash and clutter. But we don't just lend stuff; we fix it, too! Our Repair Cafés are friendly, pop-up events where you can bring your broken lamps or torn favourites, grab a cuppa, and work with our volunteers to bring them back to life.
And if you’ve got good-quality bits and bobs you no longer need, our Reuse Shop makes sure they find a new home instead of heading to the skip. Whether you’re looking to save some money, learn a new skill, or just do your bit for the planet, you’re more than welcome here. Let’s keep Hartlepool’s resources in the community and out of the bin.
